My Etsy Shop

Hello everyone! I've been very busy preparing for my 2 craft fairs. All is going well and I think they will turn out to be a success. The first one is coming up in a week and a half, on September 8th! I will definitely take pictures of my tables so you can all see it.

In other news, I've also been extremely busy adding new items to my Etsy shop. Within the past 2 weeks I have made my first 3 sales! Woohoo! I am really hoping to get more traffic over at my shop so I am joining many of the teams that are related to what I make and sell. I also use some social media, such as facebook, pinterest, and instagram to get my items viewed, and therefore more traffic in my shop.

Today I wanted to share with you some of my items that I have in my shop. You can view my entire shop by heading over to this address : etsy.com/shop/kbettega

This is an example of a vintage inspired wedding favor gift tag. I have many more tags with all different sayings. These are also 100% customizable, so I can write whatever you'd like on your tag!

Here is an example of a baby shower favor. These are personalized bubble bottles with a small pink pacifier embellishment! I think these are so adorable, probably my favorite item in my shop!

Here is another adorable favor that I think would be great for any party, especially baby showers! It is a mini post it note keychain. These are definitely unique and not your typical favor. Your guests are sure to love them.

Here is an image that can be used in so many ways. I can create cupcake toppers, gift tags, napkin ring holders, banners, etc with this image. The possibilities are ENDLESS!! If you have an idea for something, just message me and tell me what you're looking for and I can come up with a design for you!

This next picture has a couple different usages. It can be used as a name place card OR it can be used to identify food/drink at your event (especially useful if it is buffet style!).

So as I said earlier, everything on my shop is 100% customizable. If you don't like a certain image on the product, you just have to convo me and let me know and I can change it to something you love! I truly love creating personalized, custom orders and knowing that my customer is getting EXACTLY what he/she wants.

That is all for today. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this! I hope you visit my Etsy shop and remember to click "FAVORITE" when you see something you like. Or click "ADD TO CART" if you'd like to purchase something!! :)

Have a great day!!

Craft Fair Items: Post It Note Holders

I signed up for another craft fair this September... so now I will be doing 2 in the month of September. I'm really hoping my items sell and people are excited about them. I'd love to do another craft fair more towards Christmas because I have so many fun holiday themed things I'd love to make! Today I will be showing you another item I hear does well at craft fairs: post it note holders. These are actually acrylic photo frames just flipped upside down! Whoever thought of this is a genius. I have made so many papers to insert into the frame, now I just need to stock up on the frames themselves. I get mine at the Christmas Tree Shop and they are $0.69 for the big ones I used and $0.50 for the small ones. Let me know what you think!

I'm going to package these up nicely so they are more appealing. I might even add a coordinating pen to go with it.

Thanks for looking! Leave me a comment :)

Craft Fair Items: Altered Clipboards

Another item that I think will be great to have at craft fairs are altered clipboards. These can be found at the dollar store as well. It's amazing how you can transform something so "blah" into something so beautiful! I have only made 3 so far, but I plan on visiting the dollar store soon and stocking up on some more. My favorite is the sewing machine clipboard, LOVE! Here are the pictures:

Craft Fair Items: Mini Composition Books Part 2

Ok, so I went back and added the white duct tape, some lace, and some pearls. I really wanted to make these super girly and feminine, because I plan on selling them at a craft fair where there will be lots of young girls. Plus its back to school season, and in addition to the beautiful ness of the book, it will also be practical for them to use. Here are the updated pictures of my altered books:

I think they look much better this way and will be a big seller at the craft fair. Let me know what YOU think!

Craft Fair Items: Mini Composition Notebooks

I decided I was going to do one or two craft fairs this fall. I typically create small, manageable projects. So when I find something I really enjoy making (and that is relatively inexpensive and fast!) I kind of go overboard and make them in bulk. For example, I LOVE covering mini composition notebooks. I used to do it with mod podge, and it took a bit more time. But now, after seeing a video on YouTube where someone used ATG tape, I started doing it that way. They literally take me less than 2 minutes each. Thats just to cover the book with paper, I'll go back at some point and embellish them. Anyway, there is a Dollar General near me where I get the mini composition notebooks for 3 for $1. Can't beat it. Here are some pictures of the mini books I covered yesterday ( remember they are not embellished yet, although some of the paper is so pretty I might not even need to embellish a few!)

These minis were covered using the Glam Girl Stack
The French Country Stack (shabby chic, i love!)
All About Girls Stack
The one on the left was covered using paper from My Mind's Eye: Lost & Found paper pack. The one on the right is the same as in the previous picture (All About Girls Stack) but these would both make adorable christmas themed books!

So these are just a few of the examples of notebooks I will have at my upcoming craft fair. I think I will cover the black binding with some white duct tape. It makes the books look more feminine. Anyway, like I said, they are so inexpensive ( $0.33 cents each) and easy to make. I'm off to make some more right now!

Happy Crafting!

Blogging: Day 1

Hello, world. I have officially decided that I would like to start blogging all of my craft creations. I have seen so many people's blogs and gotten so many ideas from them, that I wanted to share mine with the world as well. I'm not sure anyone out there is actually reading this, but just incase any other fellow crafters are, this is for you! I hope you enjoy my creations and are inspired to make a few of your own crafty things!
